Our Vineyard and Winery

Tassell Park is a family owned and operated premium boutique vineyard and winery situated in the Treeton valley, 4km east of the township of Cowaramup - the hub of the Wilyabrup grape growing region of Margaret River. Wines are made from our own 100% estate grown fruit.

Our Vineyard

Location: 415 Treeton Rd, Cowaramup, Margaret River Wine Region
Vineyard Established: 1998-2001.
Grafting of some red to white varieties 2005-2006.
First Harvest: 2001
Area under vine: 6.85 hectares
Soil type: Loam over clay.
Vineyard Management: Rows planted North-South orientation
VSP trellis system
Rows are spaced 3m x 2m vine spacing
Irrigated using inline drippers
Cane or spur pruned by variety for low yielding, premium fruit
Varieties grown:
Sauvignon Blanc 1.85 hectares
Chenin Blanc 1.1 hectares
Chardonnay 0.35 hectares
Semillon 0.35 hectares
Shiraz 1.35 hectares
Cabernet Sauvignon 1.2 hectares
Petit Verdot 0.4 hectares
Merlot 0.25 hectare
